and it began with something powerful - JYC camp. we went through the cats & dogs theology. you know, when i was compiling data for the yc mag, i saw a lot of "Cats and Dogs" under the "Top 10 Series" and i really wanted to know what was that all about. and finally, i got a chance to. and it was great. learnt a lot from it, really. like how to be a Christian who puts all focus on God. and from there, i re-learnt that people who call themselves Christians and who live lives like Christians, can also be a 'cat' Christian - one who focuses on self, not God.
all in all, the main point from the whole theology is, do things that will bring God the MAXIMUM glory. not just glory. or things that will please God. but do things that will bring God maximum glory. that's something new. :)
and as i was watching the video, i was saddened by the ignorance and behaviour of 'cat' Christians. one thing i remember clearly,
a CAT would enter heaven walking backwards - facing hell and back towards heaven. his goal is simply not to enter hell. he is walking away from hell, to heaven.
a DOG, on the other hand, recognises the beauty of living for God and living a godly life, so, with back facing hell and walking towards heaven, he enters heaven.
i pray that i might be a 'dog' Christian. yet, not for my own benefit or to get into God's good books, but for His glory.

after JYC camp, been busy packing. clearing all my rubbish. things that i've been keeping and unwilling to throw. i'm moving house! yipee!! :)
so, yea, been busy packing.
on tuesday went to send ben soh off. i'm gonna miss him! miss his noise, miss his super funny stories, and just missing his presence in YC. glad he's coming back some time soon! :)
on wednesday went with my mum to... SHOP! finally. she's been turning me down since forever. surprised she actually suggested it. she bought a bottom, i bought a top, and we had lunch together. :D
then met may & miao to shop for sam's present. then went to church to cut lester's hair. then built shelves.
oh, and it was ben soh's birthday. happy birthday ben!:)
then yesterday i went to eunice's house. my brother, eugene, eunice & i met for lunch. then we rented HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. watched it for my second time. eugene too. eunice watched it her 7th time, my brother, probably his 28th or 33rd... too many to count. LOL. oh ya, annabelle came too. after that iggie also came. we wanted to go swimming. all was prepared, then, we decided not to. :( went to the arcade instead. fun fun fun! :)

CELL. it was another powerful time. during worship, i got a word - gift. could God be asking, what's your gift to Me?
after that, ian spoke. on leadership. i love leaders' camp cos ian always speaks and i always get a lot out of it. not that i may benefit from it, but, really, i still remember what ian said 4 years ago during JYC leaders' camp. & now that he's speaking again, i'm sure i'll remember it for as long as i am in YC. precious!
after that ian layed hands & prayed for all of us. at that moment, i really felt the feeling of "passing the baton on". i felt so blessed. so fortunate. & i am thankful. :)
